Yes it is true that applying cold to swelling and bruising can help reduce it HOWEVER, please do NOT ever put ice on your treatment area! Not only can ice directly on the skin cause ice burns, but can also be far too cold for the area if applied over a long period and could cause swelling and bruising to get worse!

Instead, each for a cold compress to apply around the treatment site ๐Ÿ’•
