I have just returned from a fantastic week in Val d’sere with tons of snow, freezing temperatures but mostly sunshine. I would never have been there without you both.

In 2024 during a similar holiday I snapped the medial ligament and ACL in my left knee. Thanks to a truly superb surgery followed by dedicated physiotherapy I was back on my feet again and working ( in events ) by early summer. I followed all the instructions, joined a gym and built up strength in my legs ready to hit the slopes again for the first time since then this March. I was a little tentative at first but muscle memory never fails and by the second day I was skiing as well as ever and confidence was restored.

I had to share that with you and send my enormous thanks for your incredible skill and care. I’ve just celebrated (well not exactly celebrated but you know what I mean) my 69th birthday and I’m fully intending to carry on skiing to at least 75 when ski passes become free of charge in Val d’sere !

I try to donate 2-3 small charitable donations to different causes that catch my eye every year. I have donated £4 a month to Cancer Research UK for about 20 years now, it’s a good cause. I wanted to see Spring in with a little challenge as well. So if you spare a quid or two, my target is to raise £250 by completing 100 press-ups a day in March. Just my first 20 🥵🤣❤️

Friends & Family Discount.

It’s a tricky moment where I have decided to take a stance that doesn’t feel in all honesty that comfortable.

I try hard to help people whenever I can, particularly with costs of treatment, as I know it is not easy for everyone to pay full price with the cost of living going up, left, right and centre 😕

Equally, I have known some of my patients my entire career, some near 20 years now. I am also very lucky that lots of my friends and family come for treatment. They have helped me and my career, now business over the years in so many ways.

Of late I have realised that my generosity has been become excessive, in some relationships misplaced and often although I know I shouldn’t, I have undercharged for one reason or another. We are all on a journey and this is part of mine.

I am sorry in advance to those who have helped, above and beyond over the years. It may be the case I upset some of you for charging more money than normal.

However, from Monday 13th October 2025, to those I love and at very least appreciate. As a genuine thank you for your support and friendship, I will apply a 15% “Friends & Family Discount” to each appointment moving forward.

However, the “Mates Rates” can no longer apply. If we are good friends, please also charge me, moving forwards for what you also deserve for being good at your job. As for those I’m closest too, it will be a hug & good company where that love is poured ❤️

😭😭 Farewell 😭😭

🇦🇺 It is with sad hearts but fond memories we say goodbye to Emma whose time in UK has ended.

🇦🇺 We always knew Emma would only be here for the UK hockey season, playing for Canterbury but she has been an absolute joy to work with.

🇦🇺 Friendly, competent, knowledgeable , independent and required absolutely no management- from my experience staff like Emma, don’t come around very often.

🦘We wish .reido well and know she will be a success with her outlook attitude, wherever she goes. Interestingly, Emma is re-training to be a mechanical engineer in the mining sector of WA. Good luck with your continued studies.

A huge congrats to Invicta Volleyball

🏆 CHAMPIONS🏆

Our men did it! With still two games left to play we've taken the Volleyball England NVL Division 3SE title and next year will compete in Division 2 of the National Volleyball League.

It wasn't easy, but our resolve and determination got us through with some fantastic team efforts throughout the season.

We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who helped us on the way and prepare for this competition, to Lissp Calais VB Team Essex Volleyball Club and Essex Rebels for giving us some great higher level preseason and off-season games.
