Your body is more electric than your phone—yet you charge that every night, and rarely think about charging you. But the truth is: you’re not just flesh and thought. You are voltage. You are frequency.

Every cell in your body runs on electrical potential. Your heart beats through bioelectric charge. Your brain fires through light and magnetism. And yet we’ve been taught to live disconnected from the very forces that keep us alive. You want to heal? You want clarity, vitality, peace? Then plug back into what you were made from. Sunlight. Clean water. Ground beneath your feet. You absorb electrons through skin-to-earth contact. You generate power when your bare eyes meet the morning sun. You restore flow when you drink living water charged with minerals and memory. This is spiritual embodiment.

Ascension isn’t about escaping your body. It’s about becoming fully alive inside it. Because heaven isn’t somewhere else. It’s a frequency. And when your body is charged, when your cells are coherent, when your nervous system feels safe—you don’t just visit heaven. You carry it.

We’re pleased to bring you tip #5 from our series of sustainable health care posts:

Our breathing is connected to our nervous system, so when we get worried or nervous we tend to hold our breath.

Breathe through your nose, with the focus on a long out breath. The nose has filters. It warms and humidifies air, preventing dryness in the airways and lungs. Allow the air to come in naturally like sniffing a rose, allowing your ribs to move upwards in your back. We breathe with the whole of our backs - often we are so front orientated with completing tasks in front of us that we forget about our backs and the importance of allowing our ribs to move.

Learning breathing techniques can have a positive impact on your health. They can help to reduce your blood pressure, improve relaxation, prevent insomnia and improve your attention. And the good news is that they can be done anywhere at any time. Give tip number 5 a try.

Let's improve our health together.

🌾 Vaisakhi 2025: Celebrating New Beginnings 🌾

Vaisakhi, also known as Baisakhi, is a significant festival celebrated by Sikhs and Hindus, marking the Punjabi New Year and the spring harvest festival. It also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In 2025, Vaisakhi falls on Monday, April 14th.

At the UK Reiki Federation, we extend our heartfelt wishes to all those observing Vaisakhi. May this auspicious occasion bring joy, prosperity, and new beginnings to you and your loved ones.

What a useful, lovely day together, thanks team 🙏

🌙✨ Welcoming the Lunar New Year: The Year of the Snake ✨🌙

As we enter the Year of the Snake, we embrace its energy of transformation, wisdom, and renewal. The snake, a symbol of rebirth, reminds us to shed what no longer serves us—perfectly aligning with the principles of Reiki.

This year invites us to:
🌟 Transform: Release old patterns and welcome growth.
🌟 Tune in: Embrace inner wisdom and intuition.
🌟 Balance: Align with the snake’s steady, grounded energy.

For our Reiki community, it’s a time to reflect, heal, and share our practice with purpose. Let’s set meaningful intentions and support one another on this journey of renewal.

Wishing you wisdom, balance, and harmony in the Lunar New Year! 🌸🐍✨

It's World Mental Health Day - the perfect day to look after yourself.
Maybe take a break?
A change of scene or a change of pace is good for your mental health. It could be a five-minute pause from cleaning your kitchen, a half-hour lunch break at work or a weekend exploring somewhere new.
A few minutes can be enough to de-stress you. Give yourself some ‘me time’.
Taking a break may mean being very active. It may mean not doing very much at all.
Take a deep breath… and relax. Try a Reiki self-treatment, yoga or meditation, or just putting your feet up.
Listen to your body. If you’re really tired, give yourself time to sleep. Without good sleep, our mental health suffers and our concentration goes downhill. Sometimes the world can wait.

An article from our UKRF Reiki World magazine - Spring issue:

Exploring Japanese Traditions and the Beauty of Sakura...

As winter’s chill fades away, Japan eagerly prepares to welcome the enchanting season of spring. With its arrival comes a myriad of cherished traditions that celebrate renewal, rebirth, and the beauty of nature. At the heart of these traditions lies the iconic symbol of spring in Japan – the sakura, or cherry blossom.

For centuries, the blooming of sakura trees has captivated the hearts of both locals and visitors alike, marking the beginning of hanami season.

Hanami, which translates to “flower viewing,” is a time-honoured tradition where people gather with friends and family in parks, gardens, and along riverbanks to appreciate the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms. From late March to early April, these delicate pink and white petals blanket the landscape, creating a breathtaking spectacle that inspires awe and reverence.

During hanami, it’s customary to enjoy a picnic beneath the blossoming trees, savouring traditional Japanese treats such as bento boxes filled with seasonal delights like onigiri (rice balls), tempura, and fresh fruits. As the soft petals flutter in the breeze, laughter and conversation fill the air, fostering a sense of camaraderie and joy among attendees. A truly beautiful experience for anyone lucky enough to be there at the right time of year!
