We run a mixture of classes for all ages and abilities:
Pilates: a gentle but effective form of exercise which is mat-based and designed to promote a balance of strength, flexibility, core awareness, coordination, and control. It is a good foundation for all other activities.
Yoga: a mind-body practice, incorporating breath and movement poses. The benefits include better balance, strength, flexibility, focus and relaxation.
Senior Fitness: a strength, balance, flexibility class for over 60's which is half chair based exercises and the remainder weights and circuit based exercises designed to enhance flexibility and balance and maintain strength
Functional Fitness: a moderate intensity circuit of exercises completed both on and off the mat, working on strength, balance and flexibility to improve & maintain daily function.
Gym Ball Pilates: a class using a gym ball (also known as a stability ball, Swiss ball or exercise ball) to enhance the Pilates principles of core strength, stability and balance, These classes are designed to work the entire body, focusing on controlled movements and breathing techniques to improve flexibility, posture and overall well being.
