WHAT IS ASHTANGA YOGA MYSORE STYLE?📢
The Mysore Method (assisted self-practice) is a unique and traditional way of learning and practising Ashtanga Yoga, based on self-paced progress under the guidance of a teacher.
Unlike a typical led class, the Mysore style allows students to move through the sequence at their own pace, gradually memorising and building the practice over time.
In this method, students receive individual attention, with the teacher offering personalised adjustments, guidance, and encouragement. It is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners, because the practice is tailored to each person’s needs, experience, and ability.
The Mysore Method nurtures independence, consistency, and a deep connection to the practice. It offers an opportunity to cultivate focus, discipline, and presence both on and off the mat.
WHAT DOES 2+2 WEEK MEAN?📢
The first two sessions (Monday 22nd and 29th September) will introduce the Mysore method in a beginner-friendly setting, covering the key aspects of this approach.
For the final two sessions, you’ll be invited to book any of our regular weekly Mysore classes to experience the method in its traditional setting, alongside other practitioners. This will allow you to truly experience the essence of the Mysore style.

Last 2 sessions: Choose any two Ashtanga Yoga Mysore sessions from our weekly timetable before the end of October.
