🇬🇧 Today, we commemorate VE Day 'Victory in Europe' 🇬🇧
On this day in 1945, the war in Europe ended, and Britain rejoiced. We honor the courage and sacrifice of all who served, securing the freedoms we cherish today.
We will never forget them!❤️

Today, we proudly join the rest of the UK in celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.

We have a full day of celebrations planned across the RBLI Village and beyond - including supporters hosting their Tommy Teas, a party in our Garden of Honour, and a ceremonial beacon lighting this evening.

In the words of Churchill himself: “This is your victory.”
