Charlotte Fraser has over twenty years of experience working in the health, nutrition and wellness sector.
Holistic in approach, Charlotte works dynamically with the client on a physiological, physical, mental and emotional level to bring about sustainable, long-term change in their health and wellbeing. Awareness is, Charlotte believes, 90% of the cure and she places considerable emphasis on helping clients to gain better self-knowledge and understanding. She treats a wide range of health conditions but her areas of special interest and expertise are in Gut Health and Cognitive Health - the gut/brain axis.
Charlotte’s interest in nutrition stems from her own personal experience treating a chronic health condition. She was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when she was 23 years old. Repeat flare-ups followed by long, debilitating spells in hospital, compelled Charlotte to explore alternative health therapies and approaches. Her journey took her to many of the world’s leading spas, medical and detox centres, and her interest in the mind/body connection led to further exploration through psychodynamic psychotherapy, transpersonal psychology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine; her study of the latter integrated in Charlotte’s own nutritional approach.
Charlotte found really tangible and sustainable results through nutritional therapy, also in adopting a different mindset and more holistic approach. She went on to study for a Diploma at the UK School of Naturopathic Nutrition, qualifying with distinction in 2006 before qualifying for a Diploma in Food Intolerance Testing.
