I met with Matt from who is a soft tissue & sports massage therapist (go give him a follow! He knows his stuff and puts out some great content!).
This is following an old injury was an l4/l5 disc herniation which happened in February 2025. He has been doing rehabilitation and training around it since.
Matt suffers with referred pain down the left leg. However over the last few months the pain had subsided but he has a noticeable feeling constantly there. This had 4 main spots that would sometimes flare up. SIJ area, Glute, proximal hamstring and top of gastrocnemius. With no feeling in the leg at all when still.
Bending used to be very limited with the left side of the hip shifting forward throwing him off.
Post treatment he can now get much lower and much straighter. No pain anywhere other than the very top of the posterior knee.
"QL and fresh injury pain suffered Friday is now totally gone. Not even a whisper. It felt like it was on the edge of locking up prior to treatment but has now gone."
GREAT RESULT!!!!!
