I am very lucky because I love what I do. I was born and grew up in China; my hometown is called Xi'an (Yes, that is where the Terra Cotta Army is located). e. In China Traditional Chinese Medicine is practiced alongside western medicine in every hospital and it has been used in every Chinese family's day to day life. When I was a little girl I always wondered how the Chinese doctors knew what was wrong with their patients just by looking at their tongues and touching their wrists. My childhood dream was to help people and to make people feel healthy and beautiful. But unfortunately I studied Economic Management when I grew up.... due to a family reason I emigrated to the UK in 1997 and I studied accountancy and became a management accountant for nearly 12 years but always knew that I should be doing something else......
After I got married and moved from Surrey to Canterbury, I finally decided to follow my childhood dream. I retrained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in the International Body Harmonics Centre with Maria Marcati who is an expert of oriental therapy and acupuncture and I had advanced cosmetic acupuncture training in The College of Chinese Medicine. I became a fully qualified, insured and licensed acupuncturist and I am a member of the Acupuncture Acutherapy Council and Cosmetic Acupuncture UK. I am now fulfilling my dream by treating people who come to me for help and practice my profession with passion. I have finally realised my destiny and love every moment.
