You’d think being a Foot Health Practitioner means my feet are always perfectly looked after… right? 👣

But the reality is, when I finally sit down ready for my own foot treatment… there’s no one there to do them! 😂

Just like everyone else, I have to make time to look after my own feet too. After all, our feet do so much for us every single day and deserve and need a little care and attention.

Appointments are filling up very quickly at the moment, and we are currently booking around 4 weeks in advance. We always do our best to accommodate everyone, so we really do recommend booking ahead, as we really don’t like to disappoint.

If you do need something sooner, we are more than happy to add you to the cancellation list and will be in touch if anything becomes available.

Just a gentle reminder regarding the cancellation policy – as appointments are in high demand, we kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange. This allows us to offer the space to another patient who may be waiting.

Common foot problems that shouldn’t be ignored 👣

Our feet often tell us when something isn’t quite right, but many people delay getting help.

Here are some common foot problems that are best treated sooner rather than later:
• Corns – These can become very painful if left and often worsen with pressure and friction.
• Callus / hard skin – Thickened skin can crack over time, which can lead to discomfort and sometimes infection.
• Ingrown toenails – These can quickly become sore, swollen, and sometimes infected if not treated early.
• Fungal nails – Thickened, discoloured nails are very common and can worsen over time if not properly managed.

The good news is these conditions are very common and can usually be managed effectively with the right care 👣
