She had such a wonderful birthday celebration with her family. Thank you Tracy for the amazing cake and Steve for always keeping everyone smiling with great music.

🌿 We love our trips to the Garden Centre. 🌿

This week, we went for a relaxing trip to the garden centre. After a good look around, we enjoyed a coffee in the cafe, chatting away and taking in the surroundings.

Outings like these, outside our routine at home, provide a sense of freedom, purpose and independence. It's why regular trips into the community are an integral part of our Wellbeing Programme here at Dunniwood Lodge.

We had such a lovely time at our summer garden party with our friends and families. The BBQ was sizzling, music playing and so many meaningful moments made, with dancing, singing and stories shared of summers gone by.

These are the days that remind us why community matters. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our fantastic team for making it happen.

When a local pop-up shop contacted us, we asked our residents if they'd love to go clothes shopping and the response was brilliant. They had a wonderful time browsing and trying clothes on.

Bringing meaningful experiences directly to our home makes such a difference, promoting independence and bringing a sense of familiarity.🥰

Two very special visitors and lots of smiles. 🐴

Belinda organised a visit from Storm the pony and Romeo the goat and we were all so happy to meet them.

It gave us the chance to share stories about the animas we've known and loved. We love the sense of calm and connection a furry friend brings to our shared home community.

☀️ Sun, sea and fish and chips!

There’s something about being near the sea that brings out the best stories of our sunny holidays, family trips and ice creams on the beach.

We love being able to head out on the minibus to explore. A big thanks to Lee, our brilliant driver, for always getting us there and back with a smile.

We are now welcoming new residents for residential, dementia and respite care. 💛
