Ah! My secret Santa reveal 🎅❤️😍

Let me get soppy for a second...

I made this cardigan for one of my besties for Christmas x
She is the kinda ride or die that treats our children like her own 💕 x
She loves endlessly and will drag me, kicking and screaming out of a pit of self-pity with her wise words, a hug & maybe a margs or two!🍹x

I struck Secret Santa gold when, part way through making her cardigan, I drew her name for our Festive weekend away x
I just needed to finish it in time x It was a close call 🙈

Made using Aran yarn in forest green💚 x
Extra length added, and the biggest balloon sleeves know to man! 😍

It was a hit! 💚😍🎅🎄

I haven't made one of these in a while x

This little beauty was commissioned by my youngest daughter and made for her fabulous teacher😉

There is something so elegant in the simplicity and design of the Dew Drop shawl x I think I might need one ☺️

It passed the critical eye of daughter and happily gifted, high praise indeed x

I've fully immersed myself into the world of the NHS along side my Crafting Calm journey x
I can tell you that I definitely still need this extra bit of calm x 🤣

I've been working on all sorts in the background, but needed to share this beauty with you!

Made for one of my best friends from all our girl group x 💜
What an honour to be trusted to make a very special gift for a very special birthday x 🎂

How did this cardigan come to be you ask? 😉
I was sent a picture of a tile! That's right, a tile! x 'Please can my cardigan be made using the colours in this tile?!' 🤣

I just love the big ballon sleeves and the retro feel to the cardigan 🤎🧡💛💚

And who isn't loving the retro vibe right now?!

Made using Aran yarn, it's soft, oversized and perfect for all weather's x

Love making something with someone specific in mind it makes my heart happy 😊

New beginnings!
I have news...

Hello! 😊

How has January come and gone?!

It's been a month of new beginnings for me at Crafting Calm as I have started a new job as a HCSW for the NHS x 💙
Who knows where this may lead 🥰

It's been an intense month of training and working and trying to find our new normal x But I've loved every second...so far x

My quiet time is still filled with my wool and hooks and Crafting Calm will continue to be 🥰

I couldn't and wouldn't be without you fabulous lot and our shared love of all things crocheted x🥰💕
