We would like to share a lovely moment from today. Natalie our Business Administrator was surprised with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a thank you for her continued commitment and dedication to our home. It means so much to see the care, effort, and leadership she brings every day recognised and appreciated. Thank you for everything you do for our residents, families, and team.

What an afternoon to remember. 🎶
Our residents had a wonderful time with the visit of Harmony Brothers , singing along, dancing, and enjoying every moment of the concert. Friends and family joined us too, making the afternoon even more special. Smiles, movement, and great music brought everyone together.

A big thank you to the Harmony Brothers for sharing their music and energy with our Home. 💙

A little afternoon tea to brighten the day ☕🍰
Fresh finger sandwiches, beautiful cakes made by our head chef, and soft music set the tone for a really gentle afternoon. It was a chance to enjoy the moment, share a few meaningful conversations, and spend time together in a calm, comfortable way.
Simple, thoughtful moments like this are what make afternoons feel special at Penylan House 😊

Today we had great day out at the local pub, The Claude. The gents enjoyed a proper lunch, a well earned pint, and some good company, always nice to get out and about.
A big shout out to our VEST Community Transport driver for taking great care of us, keeping everything running smoothly, and making the trip there and back so easy. Much appreciated by everyone. 🍻

✨ National Activity Awards 2025 ✨

On Friday, we attended the National Activity Awards 2025 in Liverpool and had an amazing experience being part of an event that celebrates the very best meaningful activities. Hallmark Penylan House Luxury Care Home being recognised as finalist in the Working Together category reflects the creativity, planning, and teamwork our lifestyles bring to activities every day.
It was inspiring to spend time with others who share the same focus on person-centred activities and to see this work being acknowledged across the sector. Thank you to National Activity Providers Association for organising such a well-run awards and conference, and to our team for representing our service so positively. 👏🏻

🌈 NAPA Week at Penylan 🌈
We are proud to celebrate NAPA National Activity Providers Association Week and recognise the importance of activity provision in supporting our residents wellbeing.
Today, our lifestyles focused on sensory stimulation, exploring colour, sound, texture, and music. These experiences are vital for engagement, relaxation, and emotional connection, and the benefits can be seen and felt throughout the day. In the morning, residents enjoyed sensory stimulation using our magic table. This session explored colour, movement, and interaction, supporting focus and sensory awareness.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed a karaoke session filled with music, singing, and shared moments together. Music continues to be a powerful way to encourage connection and expression.
We are committed to offering a varied activities programme that supports the individual needs of every resident 💙
