“We’ve all got our lives back.” ♥️

Julie, 67, lives with dementia. Thanks to a small medication management device called Pivotell, she’s regained a sense of independence and confidence, and her sisters have found peace of mind.

Before Pivotell, Julie's sisters were visiting up to three times a day, worried about missed doses and medication mix-ups. It was stressful, emotional, and exhausting.

Now, Julie takes her medication safely and confidently on her own. The device's timed pill dispenser rotates to give Julie the right dose at the right times, making a huge difference to her and her sister's lives.

A small device that's making a big difference đź’Š

Meet Nicola. She used to struggle with taking her medications on time because of health challenges like chronic pain and severe fatigue. But thanks to a clever tool called YOURmeds, that’s changing.

YOURmeds is a smart medication reminder that beeps when it’s time to take your pills, and lets carers or family members know if medication's been missed. Since joining the pilot in Bridgend, Nicola says she feels more confident, more independent, and less stressed.

Putting Patient Voices at the Heart of Innovation ❤️

In our latest guest blog, Demi Melnyk from CanSense shares how the team is advancing the early detection of gynaecological cancers by co-designing diagnostic tools with the people they’re meant to serve.

With seed funding from the Innovation in Women’s Cancer Accelerator Fund, they're developing a novel liquid biopsy blood test for ovarian and endometrial cancers, backed by a public and patient involvement project.
