What a joy to present this months GEM (Going the Extra Mile) award to our wonderful Chioma!

Chioma is a truly magnificent member of our care team who spreads sunlight and smiles wherever she goes.

It was an absolute joy to welcome these young dancers here on Sunday.

We all loved to watch the dancing, the team work and camaraderie that En Pointe Theatre Arts instill into the children is inspiring.

Thank you so much for coming along and we very much look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

We have a daily exercise class at 11am and this morning several of our colleagues joined in and as you can see, "perfected" The Macarena😁

A mixture of fun and games, goody bags, fabulous buffets, Yoga, Zumba - and there is a lot more still to come😁

We were delighted to welcome back the absolutely outstanding Falconry UK yesterday who introduced us to a variety of birds and gave such an interesting talk about each one.

We all had the opportunity to get close and hold the birds, it was absolutely magical - Thank you so much for such a wonderfully interactive time ☺️

💕What a beautiful morning we have all enjoyed here today 💕

Lyndon Jones is a wonderfully talented musician and he played a lovely selection of piano pieces for us to listen to and sing along with.

Music definitely lifts the spirits and is . ☺️Turn up the volume and enjoy a small section of his playing on the video clip

"I was absolutely blown away! I was so touched that my lovely friends thought to do this for my 99th birthday" 💜

Julian, a much-loved resident at Llys Cyncoed Care Home, celebrated his 99th birthday in spectacular style with a surprise concert from friends and former colleagues from the Welsh National Opera. Over his lifetime, he has performed in world-famous venues like the Sydney Opera House and Teatro alla Scala! 🎉

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming some lovely children from a local school here last week to take part in our annual Easter Egg Hunt, and as you can see there were some very good "hauls"!
