Yesterday, we attended Procurex Wales, an event that brought together a diverse group of professionals committed to shaping the future of public procurement in Wales. We met some fantastic delegates and truly enjoyed learning about their work while having the opportunity to showcase what we do.
The event provided speaker sessions that offered valuable insights into Wales’ evolving procurement landscape, emphasising fairness, sustainability, and social impact—Along with a panel of speakers discussing how to evidence social value, sharing perspective that deeply align with the principles at the heart of Scarlett Jack Hairitage.
We made incredible connections with like-minded professionals and organisations committed to driving positive change across sectors in meaningful and impactful ways.
⭐️ One connection that stood out was Rhian, a former nurse and director of nursing and healthcare. She spoke with such passion and care for the candidates, clients, and industry she serves. Her dedication to bringing a more compassionate, human-centered approach to her work is truly inspiring and marks her as a real change maker.
⭐️Another was Dan, whose personal experience with alopecia drives his inspirational work supporting others. His movement embodies focus on well-being acceptance and positive change.
What struck me most was that, despite our different paths, we all share the common thread of lived experience. This shared understanding strengthens our commitment to social value and making a meaningful impact.
Exhibiting for the first time was an incredible opportunity—many thanks to Business Wales / Busnes Cymru for making it possible and including us in these important conversations shaping the future of Wales.🏴
