One of my biggest enquiries from C-Section assessment appointments is:

'How do I get rid of my over-hang'?

There's lots that can done to promote healing and improve the appearance of a c-section over-hang (check out our New Blog post).

With a focus on patient education, a C-section Appointment at Melyn includes:

A full assessment of your scar,
Examination of your core stability and coordination,
Diastasis Recti check
Examination of your pelvis, spine/back and hips
Treatment of your incision site using specialist massage and cross friction
Myofascial release
Lymphatic drainage techniques
Core rehab
Follow up email to check your progress

You will also be taught how to perform self-massage and how to take care of your scar at home.

You know that lovely feeling you get when you finish work for a week's holiday?

That lasts about 10 seconds before it dawns on you that you still have a 12, 10, 7 and 4 year old to entertain.... in February!

Work never ends!
