At Llys Herbert it is not just residents that mean a lot to us. Their families do too. Today it was one of our residents wives birthday and she was coming in on her birthday to visit her husband with other family members so that they could all celebrate together. So to surprise her the room was decorated with banners and balloons and snacks were put out.
On leaving she was so happy and grateful and said " I'm not even a resident and you do this for me"
It was a pleasure. Happy birthday Val. You have a lovely family.

A few more photos from Christmas eve at Llys Herbert. We had a lovely visit from a local nursery school. The children made our residents Christmas cards. We enjoyed some fun and games with them. Cardiff East Ministry church came in to do a church service and communion and carols followed by cheese and wine. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
