WIMAT is the Administrative hub for the Welsh Laparoscopic Training Scheme and the Regional core for JAG approved Endoscopy training courses in Wales. WIMAT is also proud to announce that in June 2012 the unit was approved as the first RCS Accredited Surgical Education Centre. Officially our last day so one last post. Thank you to EVERYONE that has supported WIMAT over the past 30 years. We are proud to have contributed so much to patient care in Wales and have been delighted to see so many trainees work through to a consultant job and beyond!
This decision is still very difficult for us to accept, but we will move on with our heads held high and wish trainees in Wales, Good luck!
