HELPU’s men’s meet-up is on tonight at Llanrumney Hall Community Trust 7pm. It’s a relaxed, friendly space for men to talk, listen, or just sit and be around others — no pressure to share, no judgement.
If you’ve been feeling a bit isolated, stressed, or just fancy a chat and a change of scene, come along. You’ll be met at the door, made welcome, and there’s a free cuppa waiting
Open to men of all ages.

Let’s be honest — the hardest part of turning up to a men’s group, walking group etc is imagining how awkward it might be.
But come on! The awkward bit is temporary.
Regular social connection, on the other hand, is one of the strongest protectors of mental health.
You don’t need to share your life story.
You don’t need confidence.
You don’t even need good chat.
You just need to turn up, sit down, and exist near other humans for a bit.
It’s not dramatic.
It’s effective.

They've had an amazing year at Men's Den Blaenau Gwent . Winner of UK Men's Sheds Association shed of the year! It may be the end of the year, but xmas marks the start to filming a new fly-on-the-wall doc from HelpuCymru about their new initiative to open a new well-being hub in the middle of the Welsh valleys. Looking forward to the ups and downs of the journey? Will they pull it off? Watch this space... Thanks to Diageo for helping fund the doc... It's gonna be a fun ride! Men's Sheds Cymru
