I love this picture, it’s such a happy chapter in my life.

When I suffered my first mental breakdown. It knocked me off my feet, it paralysed me. I was numb, I was lost.

People were now going to see a different version of me.

I started to meditate.
I didn’t really know how to meditate, I just sat in solitude each day, I couldn’t tell you how many weeks or months I did this for, but I persevered.

During one of my meditations, I received a message from someone/something telling me to “stop hating and start loving” that was my aha moment!

This realisation was the start of my healing chapters: accepting, releasing, forgiving and connecting with my inner child for the first time. I began to unravel all these emotions with loving kindness.

Meditation became my daily medication.

With meditation and lots of help, a new version of me started to emerge, to shine, the heaviness I felt started to dissipate.

Rodopi started to blossom and shine, I felt beautiful, positive, confident, I started to talk to myself with loving kindness, I accepted me, and so much more.

Self love is so important, I had never felt this and it was awesome. My crown started to shine brightly.

The new me felt proud of my disability, it suited me and I rocked it.

Everything in life happens for a reason!
