My name's Kate and I've been running Tots Play Cardiff North since September 2014. My Award Winning classes are so much fun, while giving your little ones a developmental boost! We have a great mix of activities in each session - Baby & Toddler Yoga, Sign Language, Music & Movement, Instruments, Baby Massage, Story Massage, Bubbles, Sensory Play and loads more! All designed to intrigue, stimulate

and encourage your little one to develop their senses through play!

🧡I have 5 different classes, suitable from Birth to 2.5 years old.:
💙Baby Development (Birth to 6 months old)
💙Discovery Tots (8-12 weeks to active crawling)
💙Younger Social Tots (crawling to 15 months)
💙Social Tots (crawling to 2.5 years)
💙Daddy & Me classes - once a month on a Saturday morning

All of my sessions are very friendly and welcoming! We help to support Parents and Carers to build friendships at classes.

🧡Open invite after each class to go into Jump Soft Play (directly next door) for FREE together after each class, or for a coffee & cake over the road at Moo Moo's Coffee Shop inside Llanishen Leisure Centre

Bit excited about this one!! 🥰

I met the lovely Jen who owns when I was looking for a venue for my Summer Parties with indoor & outdoor space to play and she just got what I try to do with my classes 😍😍

Then I was like, this would be the perfect place for a Tots Play Mums Night Out, which I’ve always wanted to organise!! 🥂

Just a room full of Dads enjoying a spot of sensory play, nursery rhymes, baby yoga, bubbles & sign! 😍Special time with their Tots & Developmental activities to take home! Plus having a chat with other Dads!

🧡 I absolutely love holding this space for Dads once a month & it brings me so much joy! It’s a totally different vibe to my weekly classes; there’s not a lot on for just Dads & Tots and they seem to really enjoy this space!
Most of the Dads come month after month, which is really lovely (I must be doing something right 😁!) and it’s been great to get to know them and their lovely Tots! They are all wonderful Dads!

They also never complain about my movement songs 😉 😂

🧡 I also love welcoming Dads along to class for the first time, nervous Dads, quiet Dads, confident Dads, first time Dads & Dads with more than one child…all Dads are made to feel welcome!

🧡 It’s been a year and a half of me running Daddy & Me and I don’t think I’ll ever stop! I’d run them more than one Saturday a month if I didn’t have my own kids to work around!

I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea & that’s totally fine! But come and try a class Dads, see if you like it! It’s ok if you come to one and think, nah not for me 😂

🥰 A massive thank you to Meg & all the wonderful staff at Caerleon Child Care for coming in specially on a Saturday for me to run these classes in their welcoming, colourful & nurturing Nursery and to the fabulous for allowing the Dads to come in after classes for a free play together!
And another mention for Liam, he’ll not see this I’m sure but he was so encouraging when he was Manager at my previous venue when I came up with this idea!

I was so excited to meet you all today & welcome back some lovely Mums with their second babies 😍😍

This week at my Baby Development Course it’s a super chilled start as I settle everyone in and we start to get to know each other!
A big part of my Courses are about YOU as well as your beautiful babies 🥰

👋 We learnt Baby Massage strokes for legs & arms, with so many benefits as well as being great for bonding & helping to promote more restful, deeper sleep 🙌 that’s what we all need as parents right 😉

I can’t wait to get to know you in your WhatsApp group and over the next 6 weeks in class!!

➡️ My next Baby Development Courses starting in early June are filling really nicely, thank you all so much!! Only 3️⃣ spaces remaining for my Tuesday Course; spaces available for my Thursday Course! Birth to 6 months & more info about what we get up to on the link on my bio! All welcome! 😁

📆 Can’t wait for next weeks session: Chest & Tummy Baby Massage strokes, a lovely activity to develop Sense of Sight & we’ll talk about why babies cry 😉 as well as learn some easy to wheel out when you need them methods to help calm and soothe (not their official name 😂) Can’t wait to see you all then!!

🥰 The beauty of my Baby Development Course is that I keep the groups small & gently encourage you to get to know each other! Private WhatsApp group and organised coffee dates after class make it easy to join in, even if you’re nervous to do so 🥰 I got you Mums!!

I’m currently organising a Friday night meal out & everyone’s invited!

🧡Limited places available, spaces will be offered to current class attendees first
🧡If it’s popular and you love it, we’ll do it more often!!

We said some really sad goodbyes a couple of weeks ago, thank you so much for your beautiful cards & gifts, so, so kind of you all! Please stay in touch 🥰 I’ll miss you all very much, thank you for everything 😘

I keep all of the cards I’ve ever been given over the last 12 years of running my classes and when I’m finding things tough I have a little look through 🧡🧡 always reminds me that it’s not ‘just’ baby classes that I run 🥹

💪 Strengthening Baby Yoga you can do at home in a few minutes? Let’s have a go together then!!

🥰 It might look simple but it’s pretty darn mighty - arm Yoga like this strengthens upper body muscles, boosts body awareness & builds coordination.

🎶 Plus combining it with nursery rhythms helps babies & toddlers boost their early language development, with the simple word structure, rhythm & repetition

🥰 You’ll also getting special time with your baby or toddler, focusing in on them and their cues and having a bit of fun 😍

✅ At my classes, your baby will enjoy a very gentle but full body Yoga work out 💪 with easy to recreate at home yoga so the benefits reach out further into your week!
✅ Combined with my other developmental class activities, including Baby Massage, Sign & Sensory Play that make their learning & development fun, you’ll be having fun together while you make friends in my warm & welcoming class environment ❤️
