OUR TEAM OF LOCAL, DEVOTED AND ASPIRATIONAL PRACTITIONERS OFFER VARYING SESSIONS OF YOGA, MASSAGE AND HOLISTIC THERAPIES, AS WELL AS WORKSHOPS FROM HEALTH TO CREATIVE WRITING, AND POP UP CULTURAL EVENTS. DURING OPEN STUDIO EVERYTHING IS FREE, EXCEPT THE TI

ME YOU SPEND HERE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU PLEASE: GRAB A MAT AND WORK ON YOUR FITNESS, BROWSE OUR BOOK SELECTION, MAKE NEW FRIENDS OVER A CUPPA, HOLD A MEETING OR DISCUSSION GROUP, CATCH UP ON STUDY, BE CREATIVE. AS LONG AS YOU RESPECT THE SPACE AND OTHERS USING IT, OUR DOORS ARE OPEN.

Meet Iona 👋

Iona (they/she) has been practicing at stretchy’s since it opened in 2013. They hold a 500-hour teaching diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga, and are currently studying a Masters in Dance: Participation, Communities, and Activism at the prestigious London Contemporary Dance School

Their teaching method is student-centered and progressive, and is inspired by their own multidisciplinary movement practices - blending strength, mobility training, contemporary dance, and trauma-informed embodied rest and restorative practice. Iona is passionate about creating inclusive, accessible classes where everyone is welcome to move, breathe, rest, and reconnect at their own pace.
