In light of rising cases of flu in the community and across our hospital sites, we are urging all patients and visitors to wear masks in our assessment, emergency and waiting areas.

All employees of the Health Board who work in clinical areas are also being told to wear masks. Please do not visit patients at our hospital sites if you have symptoms of respiratory infection.

Our colleagues in Public Health Wales estimate that flu rates are likely to peak by the end of next week, so we must do everything we can to reduce the spread of infection.
