Researchers at Cardiff University are looking to identify potential research participants for studies of neurological vision loss (NVL). Although vision loss is our main research area, our studies may also include measures of memory, perception and attention. We also support the investigation of brain structure and function resulting from vision loss.

Not only do we recruit those with any form of vision loss, we also recruit healthy, normally-sighted individuals to act as scientific comparisons (controls) with those who have vision loss. As long as you are aged above 18, you are eligible to sign up to our NVL database. For a little more information about what the database involves and what to expect from us click here.

If you are interested in helping us learn more about vision loss, and possibly becoming a paid participant, please complete our online questionnaire. If you have any questions or would like any more information please email us.
