Well certainly at our local garden centre!

Our lovely ladies from Picton Court enjoyed their trip to see the Christmas decorations and of course they stopped at the cafe for some cake and a hot drink ❄️

As the winter months arrive, we’re kindly asking our lovely families and visitors to help us keep our residents safe.

If you’re feeling unwell, please do not visit our care homes until you are feeling better.

Our residents are more vulnerable to illness, so taking this precaution helps reduce the risk of spreading flu and other seasonal illnesses within our homes.

Two fabulous days, one unforgettable experience! 🐾🎬

Our wonderful Woodcroft residents recently enjoyed a trip to the local cinema to watch the latest Downton Abbey movie, it was a delightful outing filled with laughter, nostalgia, and great company!

And on another day recently, we had some very special visitors join us… 🐍🦎🕷️🦨🐢🦉🐇🐀
A whole host of furry, scaly, and feathered friends came to say hello, including a python, lizards, tarantula, meerkat, skunks, tortoises, owls, chameleons, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, mice and many more!
Everyone had the biggest smiles and absolutely loved the cuddles. It was heartwarming to see so much joy and excitement across both days 💜

🎉Our new website is live!

We’re excited to launch our new website, designed to make it easier than ever to connect with us and explore what Hafod is all about.

So, what’s changed?
• Our new site has a cleaner, sleeker design that’s easier on the eyes and simpler to use
• The bold new colour palette of blue, purple and pink reflects our vibrant new brand

While the look has changed, the navigation should feel familiar, so it’s still quick and easy to find what you need.

We’ve kept the assistive toolbar to make our website accessible and inclusive for everyone, giving visitors the freedom to customise how they view and interact with our content.

We wanted to introduce our new vibrant brand identity and as our new site is more cost-effective to run, it felt like the perfect time to hit refresh. It offers better value for money and a truer reflection of who we are.

We’ve built this new site to help us better connect with you, our customers and communities.

🎉 Celebrating 60 years of love at Woodcroft! 💍✨

Today we’re marking an incredible milestone- Sonia and John’s 60th wedding anniversary! 🥂

John shared this beautiful memory with us:

“I met Sonia back in 1962, when I was a trainee bus conductor with what is now Cardiff Bus. She heard my voice and turned her head to the side, and when I saw her face, I said to myself, wow, that’s the girl I want to marry.
We’ve had a wonderful marriage and life, and if I had my time all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. She has been my whole life for a wonderful 63 years.”

Sonia is 79 and John is 81 and their love story is still going strong. 💖

Please join us in congratulating this amazing couple on their diamond anniversary!
