In short, every patient is different, which means that not every transplant is the same.
There are a number of factors that determine the price, including:
👉 The extent of your hair loss and quality of your donor area
👉 How many grafts are needed and whether it can completed in a single day
👉 What type of procedure i.e. FUE or FUT (FUT requires a higher degree of surgical training)
👉 Any complexities regarding your case and if you want an un-shaven hair-transplant.
👉 How your surgery will be financed and the time of year (summer tends to be slightly quieter)
The only way that we can give a price is following a consultation. These can be done in person or via a video call (which we do on WhatsApp). This consult will help us determine what you need and how it will be done, and at that point, we can provide you with the price.
Included in your price will be:
👉 Full cost of surgery, consultation and treatment plan with your Surgeon
👉 12 months aftercare with 3 monthly reviews and progress checks
👉 Hair wash treatments at day 1 and day 5 (or video call if travelling)
👉 2 night hotel stay (if travelling more than 50 miles)
👉 Aftercare kit including: shampoo, pillow, vitamins, spray, stress-ball, headband.
Most people only think about hair when they start to lose it but what’s happening beneath the surface tells a much bigger story.
Your hair cycles through 4 key phases, and each one plays a role in how healthy, strong, and full it looks (and how it grows back after a transplant too).
👉 Anagen (growth phase): this phase we’re restoring during a hair transplant and lasts for up to 7 years.
👉 Catagen (transition phase): growth slows and the follicle detaches from its blood supply. It’s a short, natural pause before renewal.
👉 Telogen (resting phase): old hairs rest while new ones begin forming beneath. After a transplant, some hairs will temporarily enter this stage, which is why shedding after surgery is normal.
👉 Exogen (shedding phase): old hairs fall so new ones can take their place. After a few months, transplanted hairs re-enter the anagen phase, growing back stronger and thicker, around 3-4 months later.
Every strand follows this cycle of loss, rest, regrowth, and understanding that cycle helps you see that shedding isn’t the end of growth, it’s the start of it.

The donor area is (most commonly) the section at the back sides of your head where hair is genetically resistant to DHT (the hormone responsible for balding in the majority of cases). These hair follicles are strong and stable enough to last most of your lifetime or until old age.
