Are you an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills, looking to join a small, exclusive private ophthalmology practice? We are seeking a proactive and friendly individual to provide essential administrative and executive support directly to a Consultant Ophthalmologist, while also contributing to the smooth running of our practice and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support: Provide dedicated administrative and executive assistance to the Consultant Ophthalmologist.
Patient Liaison: Be the first point of contact for patients, both in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate services and ensuring a courteous and efficient experience.
Administrative Duties: Undertake a wide range of administrative tasks to support the practice's daily operations, including clerical support for clinical staff.
Communication Hub: Facilitate effective written and verbal communication between patients, the healthcare team, secondary care providers, and other associates.
Lead Conversion: Utilise exceptional phone skills to engage with warm leads and convert enquiries into appointments through a friendly and helpful approach.
Team Support: Offer general assistance and support to the entire practice team as needed.
About You:
You possess exceptional phone skills and a proven ability to engage positively with individuals.
You are highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
You are a friendly and approachable individual who can project a positive image of the practice.
While not essential, previous experience in a PA, EA, or secretarial role, ideally within a medical or optical setting, would be advantageous.
