👋 Say hello to Owen — our Director and Principal Dentist!

After qualifying from Bristol University in 2003, Owen began his career at Portland Street Practice, Aberystwyth before gaining valuable experience as an SHO within the NHS in Merthyr and Newport. He later worked as an Associate Dentist at Cross Keys Dental Practice before taking over Parkside Dental Practice in 2007.

For the past 17 years, Owen has proudly led the practice as Principal Dentist and Director, combining his clinical expertise with a special interest in restorative dentistry. He is also a member of the MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2006).

✨ Fun facts: When he’s not caring for patients, Owen loves the outdoors — he recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge — and he’s a passionate rugby fan!

Our little girl was in pain and not registered with an NHS dentist due to the very long wait list. We found Parkside after some research as it was her first visit. Victoria was amazing. Patient, kind, explaining everything to our little one and advising of the best course of treatment for her. I’d have no hesitation in going back to Parkside or recommending to anyone.
