This morning I caught myself doom scrolling for nearly 1 hour. And by the end of it I felt completely disconnected from my body.

My breathing was shallow,my body was tense and my mind was full of negative self talk.

Everyone else seemed to have an answer. Everyone had a way I should be living. Even the spiritual content was trying to pull me into fear.

I remembered. Nothing out there actually knows what I need better than I do.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause and breathe. Not about ignoring the world or your problems, but remembering who you are and coming back to yourself.

This week I will be running two free online sessions.

Tuesday at 10am and Wednesday at 8.30pm.

These are the perfect opportunities to allow yourself to slow down and maybe even release some of the stress and anxiety you’ve been holding on to.

You don’t need to have your camera on and you can leave yourself on mute.

I share the login details via my Broadcast WhatsApp group. To join click on the link in the comments.

If you have any questions just give me a shout 😃

Something powerful happens when people come together in one space to consciously breathe.

The room settles.

The mind slows down.

The body starts to release what it’s been holding.

Emotions move.

Clarity appears.

And people leave different to how they arrived.

Come and experience this for yourself in Cardiff Bay on Saturday, the 28th of March.

Limited spaces. Link in bio.

Something powerful happens when breathwork is done in a group.

Everyone arrives carrying their own story, their own tension, their own questions. But once the breathing begins, something shared starts to emerge.

The room settles. People go inwards. And the collective energy supports each person’s process.

You realise you’re not the only one feeling what you feel.

That sense of connection often allows people to go deeper than they would on their own. The breath opens something and the group holds it.

This is why I love facilitating group sessions. They create a space where real insights can happen.

If you’re curious to experience for yourself, tickets to my next in-person events are available via the link in comments.

The beginning of the journey.

A step into the unknown. A willingness to move before everything is certain.

In April, I’m running something inspired by this archetype.

The April Fool’s Journey.

Two weeks of guided breathwork helping us take small steps into new territory.

If you’re ready for a change of direction, or want to loosen the grip of overthinking, this might just be for you.

More details to come. Link to tickets in comments

It’s been just over 10 years, and today I found myself back in this theatre watching Barnum.

Last time this happened, I was a band 5 nurse in MAU. I was stressed, overwhelmed and hiding how terrified I was of getting something wrong. I wanted to help people, but most shifts I felt completely out of my depth.

I was engaged, about to be married. Living in a small village in the Welsh valleys.

I thought I knew how life was going to go. I had plans and dreams.

I was wrong.

Over the years, people I thought would always be there disappeared. Others arrived and changed everything.

My heart broke. And then, slowly, it started to heal in ways I didn’t expect.

My career took off, then took a completely different direction.

The quiet village became a city full of life.

For a long time I sat waiting for things to change, not realising it was already happening, slowly, constantly reshaping everything.

They say we overestimate what we can do in a year and underestimate what we can do in a decade. Yup. That’s exactly what I did.

Maybe in another ten years I’ll be back in this same theatre watching Barnum. Maybe not.

Either way, I’m done trying to control what’s coming next.

I’ll take the highs, the lows and breathe my way through all of it.

But one thing hasn’t changed.

Barnum is still the greatest musical ever.

I used to think that I was bad at relaxing. But I’m not. I would be stressed all week at work, and the weekend wasn’t long enough for me to really calm down.

That’s what happens when your nervous system is stuck in survival mode for too long.

We talked about this after our online session this morning.

When the body has been living in stress, the mind can’t just decide to switch off.

But breathwork works differently. It starts with the body. When the breath changes the nervous system begins to settle.

And that’s why I do the lives at 7 am on Instagram. Just to remind our nervous system what it’s like to be relaxed.

Tomorrow morning I’m holding my second free Tuesday breathwork session.

No experience needed, just find somewhere comfortable to sit or lie and relax for 45 minutes.

You won’t need your camera on. You won’t need to use your mic.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck, this is the place to come and start processing all of that.

Book for free via the link in my bio.

Thanks to everyone that came to my free online session this morning. It was such a lovely way to get into the day.

Using a combination of guided meditation, relaxation and breathwork we started to look at some of the emotions we’ve been carrying and deciding whether it’s time to let them go.

Don’t worry if you weren’t able to attend today. The next session will be next Tuesday at 10 am. Once again it will be free, once again you don’t need your camera or mic on. And once again all you need to do is show up as you are.

If that sounds good then register via the link below. It would be great to see you there.
