Nefertiti Neck Lift ✨

This is an exceptional result following a Nefertiti neck lift, and this was her first ever treatment to the neck.

The ageing neck is multifactorial and one of the most complex areas to rejuvenate. Changes don’t come from just one factor, but a combination of:

✨ Why Proper Assessment Matters ✨

A lovely patient came to see me recently, booked in for lip filler. As we talked and I carried out a full assessment, I noticed something immediately that meant lip filler was not the right treatment for her at all. However, i did not mention this (yet), and continued to talk with her.

When I asked what she hoped to achieve, she explained she wanted to hide her “gummy smile”. She had actually had lip filler done elsewhere before for this exact reason — and (not surprisingly) it hadn’t helped her. Lip filler cannot correct this level of gum show, and unfortunately she had been advised incorrectly - undergoing a procedure that left her out of pocket without the desired result.

I showed her exactly why her gum show was happening, and explained the correct treatment to address it. It became clear that she didn’t really want lip volume — she just wanted to feel confident when she smiled.

She came back three weeks later absolutely glowing, smiling confidently and so happy with her result 🥰

This is why a thorough consultation and assessment are EVERYTHING.

It isn’t about simply doing the treatment someone is booked in for, or taking money because it’s easy.
It’s about ethics, knowledge, and understanding anatomy — and having the ability to say “No, that’s not right for you” when needed.

This lovely patient came to us wanting lip filler straight away. But after assessing her smile and lip movement, it was clear that starting with a lip flip and gummy-smile treatment was essential for the result she truly wanted.

Her upper lip was being pulled up and tucked under by strong muscles, which exposed a lot of gum and meant that any filler placed at that stage simply wouldn’t have sat smoothly or looked how she hoped. So we made a plan: correct the muscle pull first, then add filler once the area had softened.

She was a little disappointed to wait and even booked back in a week earlier than planned 😅 — but luckily, the treatment had already relaxed things enough to show why it was worth it. And when we added the filler… the difference speaks for itself. ✨

This is exactly why experience, planning, and honesty matter.
