Tatiana Mela: When things are going well, you know it!

Parents: Hi Tatiana,

Hope you’re well!

All is well with R, I can’t get a picture just now, and he’s been out visiting his grandma today!

His wound looks like it’s healing beautifully, a light white/pale grey colour like you said, and very neat.

He is still feeding so well, and moving his tongue up and down when laughing and crying, and he has started to poke it out too, which is great to see.

Parents: Hi Tatiana,

All is well with R, the wound looks like it is healing nicely and he’s is not bothered by it.

He is moving his tongue freely around lots; and it’s cool to see how much wider he can open his mouth!

He is feeding well and draining the breasts so easily now, and falling off when satisfied instead of in frustration 🙂

It’s amazing how much difference it has made to how much less gassy he is and how much less discomfort he is in as a consequence.

Tatiana Mela: D2 feedback. Yes, I would agree true CMPA symptoms are quite unsettling for the baby but after severe tongue tie treated I expect improvement regardless!

Mother: Nice meeting you too.
He was very happy when we got home - moving his tongue around a lot, smiling & making more sounds. Evening/through to this morning, he's been unsettled, but I think it is more to do with suspected CMPA. I am not concerned it's relating to TT. Taking bottle fine - some clicking noises occasionally, but I guess he is getting used to it. Xx

Thank you so much for today! For your expertise, kindness and warmth. It was so lovely meeting you too, and we really enjoyed talking with you about everything interesting 😃

R breast fed all evening! ❤️ His suck was so much stronger already! He drained the breasts and I could tell he had fed until he was satisfied 🥲 - I didn't have to express my still very full breasts after our feeds like usual. His latch stayed on and he had no clicking. He was more settled, less gassy, slept calmer and had quieter breathing too. Incredible!

2. She breastfeed less and less and even bottle feeding is challenging!

You love your centiles, do you?

Why don't you see that the cause of this baby not thriving is the tie?!?!? Well, that is too easy, is it?

But this is the way it would tick your stupid boxes/charts?

BOTTLE, BOTTLE, GIVE A BOTTLE!

Offer it to someone who doesn't mind bottle & formulas.

STOP pushing it to the throat of the mother who want to BF?!
