🚨 EMERGENCY – Call 999
Police, ambulance, or fire brigade for:
Life-threatening illness or injury
A crime in progress
Fire or immediate danger to life
🚑 MEDICAL HELP – Call 111
Urgent but not life-threatening
Need health advice
Think you might need A&E, but it’s not critical
👮 POLICE (Non-Emergency) – Call 101
Report a crime that’s already happened (e.g., theft, vandalism)
Give information about a crime
General police enquiries
🌍 TRAVELLING – Call 112
Works like 999 across many countries
Connects to local emergency services abroad
Other useful numbers:
📞 Silent Solution – 999 then press 55 (if you can’t speak)
📞 Gas emergency – 0800 111 999
📞 Power cut – 105
