If you have to have a first aid qualification for your role at work, you probably dread those hours of watching dry presentations and demonstrations.

What if we told you that first aid training doesn’t have to be like that! Come and train with us! We have a range of certified workplace first aid courses and our teaching isn’t like all the rest.

Our sessions are practical, hands-on, scenario-based and fun! We believe people learn best when they are involved in what they are being taught.

Come and learn how, at one of our multi award winning baby and child first aid classes. Our relaxed and friendly classes, are taught by an experienced Paediatric First Aid expert. The team at Mini First Aid Cardiff and Newport are also parents themselves, so we completely get it. 💚

We ensure our training is appropriate for everyone. All trainers complete CPD on recognising conditions in black and brown skin, and we explicitly teach this on our courses. We also provide a manikin with breasts on every adult First Aid course to help address gender disparity in CPR delivery (women are 28% less likely to receive bystander CPR).

Our teaching style

Relaxed, reassuring and highly practical. We never put staff on the spot, and assessments are completed in small groups. Our approach is particularly well‑suited to school and care staff. We keep sessions interactive and hands‑on — no long PowerPoints.

While we don’t compete in a race to the bottom, we offer fair, transparent pricing and ensure our trainers are paid appropriately for their expertise. We always aim to provide the most cost‑effective and suitable training package for your needs.

Flexibility

We can deliver training at times that work for you, including twilight sessions, and can provide multiple trainers if needed. We’re also able to combine courses to streamline delivery.
