Our residents can enjoy panoramic mountain views whilst being a stone’s throw away from local amenities of Rumney Village, and only a few minutes away from the city centre. Tastefully decorated Brightside Manor in its own grounds offers a “home from home” atmosphere in a close knit community. Offering both residential and now specialist residential dementia care, Brightside Manor strives to provide high quality care based upon meaningful relationships within a comfortable setting. The modest size of the Home allows our dedicated team of carers to deliver individualised care putting you “The Resident” first.

Family visits resume after a lull due to the second wave of the pandemic. Our residents and families have been patient during the lockdown in Wales and we are now pleased to be able to resume visits with caution. We listened to the feedback from residents and their families and decided to create this dedicated visitor centre in the front lawn. Families and friends can visit by appointment. Visitors have to complete a questionnaire as to their health status, comply with the infection control procedures and safely see their loved ones. Daily resident activities Programme based on individual choice and to match their needs/ability. Group and one-to-one activities are planned for each week and delivered daily except on Sundays. The idea is to stimulate the mind and body and thereby enhance the quality of life. Every week has a different theme.
