March is National Pet Vaccination Month - an opportunity to check whether your pet’s vaccination is up to date.
As part of a national campaign, we are offering a vaccination amnesty price. Any pet over the age of 1 years old starting or restarting their vaccinations from today until the end of March will pay only £87 - the price of a booster vaccination.
Annual vaccination protects pets from serious, preventable diseases. Vaccination and the associated health check is immensely valuable at every stage of life, even if they seem healthy. Speak to your vet about your pet’s personalised vaccination schedule.
Healthy pets = happy humans 🐱🐶

Vaccinating isn’t just for puppies and kittens. 🐾
With invisible threats everywhere, adult pets need regular boosters to stay protected from parvovirus, leptospirosis, contagious cough, cat ‘flu, amongst other preventable diseases.

We often get asked how our weekend appointments compare to our weekday ones, so here’s a quick guide to the key differences:
Weekday Appointments (Monday - Friday)
- Greater chance of choosing which vet or nurse you see 🩺
- Wider appointment availability ⏱️
- Appointment times available from 8:30am – 6:00pm 📅
- Crymych is open until 5pm 🏥
- Routine surgeries throughout the week 🧑⚕️✅
Weekend Appointments (Saturday)
- Same cost as a weekday appointment 💵
- Only open in Cardigan and a shorter day - last appointments at 1:00pm ⏱️
- Routine appointments are available but more limited 📅
- No routine surgeries 🧑⚕️❌
- Usually quieter and better for the reactive dogs 🐾
Because weekend routine slots are more restricted, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Aside from availability and opening hours, there’s no other difference - you’ll receive the same level of care and attention whenever you visit us 💙
If you’re unsure which day works best for your pet, feel free to get in touch - we’re always happy to help!

Today is National Love Your Pet Day ❤️!!
With Easter around the corner, there is no better way to say "I love you!" to them than with a new Easter treat or toy! The little chick is my personal favourite and we’re unsure how long they will last in the practice!
Come grab them while they’re still available!! 🐶🐱

Blue Monday
The 3rd Monday in January is named Blue Monday and is often described as the point in the year when winter’s weight feels most pronounced. A convergence of shorter days, post-holiday fatigue and the quiet pressures of returning to routine. It serves as a reminder to pause, reflect, and show compassion to ourselves and others.
Now it has arrived, what is one thing that your pet can do that will always put a smile on your face? 🩵😺🐶
