Sorry I have been so quiet on here. I have been so busy and my energy has been going towards homeschooling my daughter 🥰

For English, Mikara wanted to send a letter to the cast of Waterloo Road. I set out a worksheet for her to create a draft letter where she politely asked for some signed photos of her favourite members of the cast. She wrote about why she loves each character and how they have influenced her.

She even reached out to one of the cast members on Instagram to ask for the address so she could send her letter.

Today Mikara received three signed photos from the cast members and she is absolutely over the moon. She feels so grateful and proud that they took the time to reply to her.

Such a lovely moment and a beautiful reminder that when children follow their passions and have the confidence to reach out, amazing things can happen 💛

I will continue to share the things we have been doing for homeschooling on here for anyone who would like to follow our journey.

The traditional school system is not the right fit for every child, and that is okay. Every child learns differently, and sometimes they just need a different environment to truly thrive.

For us, the most important thing is our children’s happiness, wellbeing, and love for learning. When children feel supported and inspired, they naturally grow in confidence and curiosity.

I hope that by sharing some of the things we do, it might inspire or help other families who are exploring alternative ways of learning 💛

I hope to get some mini me yoga up and running again by the summer 🙏🏽🤍

Thinking out loud 💭

Surely what they love right now matters more than what they will do one day.

Why not ask, who do you want to be when you are older?

Do they want to be someone who meets life with open arms,
who welcomes the lessons and the magic of experience?

Because it is in living that we discover who we are meant to be,
and slowly uncover our purpose 🤍

So much weight is placed on choosing a future career,
when even in adulthood, a single moment can change the path entirely.

✨❄️ Affirmation Snowflakes – A Magical Mini Me Yoga Christmas Activity! ❄️✨

Join me at Lady Jade’s Zen Den for a heart-warming festive session filled with movement, mindfulness, creativity, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic.

Each little yogi will create their own Affirmation Snowflake… a beautiful reminder of their inner light and positive power.
We’ll move, breathe, play, and craft our snowflakes with affirmations like “I am kind,” “I am brave,” and “I shine bright.”

Once laminated, they’ll be ready to hang on your Christmas tree… spreading love and light all season long.

We’ll finish with a peaceful guided meditation to help your little ones feel calm, grounded, and full of festive joy.

Mother’s Day special 🌸

Be guided by your child through moments of relaxation 🧘🏽‍♀️

Children to arrive at 11am to plan and prep moments of relaxation for their mummy/ guardian 😍 giving them the opportunity to create something really special to show their love and appreciation ✨

While we plan and prepare mums can go grab a coffee or have a browse around the shops. Arriving back at the send den for 12pm to be pampered and showered in love 💕

This is a great opportunity for your children to learn mindfulness and how they can use these tools at home 🏡

Mini me movement & sound 🥣🧘🏽‍♀️

Through fun activities and guided meditations, children will learn to express themselves, find inner peace, and foster a sense of community. This session is designed to empower children, helping them to cultivate their emotional well-being while having fun! It’s perfect for all ages, and no prior experience is needed. Come and discover the joy of sound and movement together!

The children will all have a chance to connect and play with the sound healing instruments!
