Dearly loved daughter of Margaret and the late Raymond, much-loved sister of Chrissie and Wendy, dear sister-in-law of Stewart and Richard, loved aunt of Ben, Josh, Evie, Alfie, Joseph, and Ted, also a good friend to many. Suddenly but peacefully, after a short illness in the Cumberland Infirmary on Thursday, 16th October 2025, Liz aged 65 years. Beloved wife of Robert, much-loved mum of Rachael and Laura, devoted grandma of Callum, loved daughter, sister and friend to many. Mary Long, aged 64, a volunteer at Cornerstone in Carlisle, passed away at Eden Valley Hospice on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service to be held at St. James' Church, Carlisle, on Tuesday, November 4th, at 12:15 PM, followed by interment in the Woodland Burial Grounds at Carlisle Cemetery, Richardson Street.
