At her own home on Saturday 13th December 2025, Jackie aged 66 years ( former cracker packer) Much loved mam of John Lee. Dear mother-in-law of Katy. Loved nana Jackie of Sophie, Jake and Ollie. Also a dear sister of Margaret, Maureen, James, Robert and the late William. Jackie will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on Friday 5th December 2025. Freda aged 89 years, beloved wife of Denis, much loved mam of Denis, Gordon, Kenneth, Malcolm, David, John and Tony, loved mother-in-law, devoted grandma and Great Grandma and sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 19th December 2025 at 12:20pm. Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, Dorothy (Dot), aged 97 years. Much loved mam of Bobby and mother-in-law of the late Pauline, loved nanna of Darren and Wayne, great nanna of Luke, Adie and Georgia and sadly missed by Joanne, Shirley, Derek, Zak, Zoe, Joe, Iyla, Sophie, Cheyenne and Tania. Sharon and all of the family of the late Paul (Cally) wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy, messages of condolence, flowers, cards and donations to the Eden Valley Hospice in memory of Cally totalling an excellent ÂŖ1,200.00 received during this recent, sad time. A special thank you to his Palliative Care Nurse, Gill, and to all the district nurses and their teams for their support throughout, thanks also to all who attended the funeral in such large numbers, and to Fr. Luiz Ruscillo for a comforting and uplifting service.

Exciting times ahead as Sean Crilley builds on his recent achievement of attaining the highest level funeral directors qualification - the Level Four Higher Diploma in Funeral Directing through the voice of the profession - the National Association of Funeral Directors.

Sean is currently undergoing the British Institute of Embalmers qualification in Embalming and Mortuary Science to further enhance his professional qualifications and services offered to the people of Carlisle and the surrounding area.

On taking up this course Sean said; "I am passionate about raising the bar in terms of professional funeral services in my local area. Any bereaved family who calls upon the services of me and my team can be assured of only the very best in professional practice".

Sean entered the funeral profession in Carlisle as a 15 year old boy on works experience from Harraby Secondary School becoming a Funeral Director proper at the age of 17, the youngest ever in the City of Carlisle.

Now, aged 40 years, Sean remains as committed as ever to his vocational call in service to the bereaved people of Carlisle.

Peacefully at home, in the presence of his family, on Monday, 10th November 2025, Paul (Cally), aged 55 years. Loving husband of Sharon, much-loved dad of James, Elle, Jacob and Rose, dearly loved son of Jen and John, a dear son-in-law and a sadly missed granda, uncle, brother, brother-in-law and a good friend to many. Requiem Mass to be held at St. Margaret Mary's R.C. Church, Scalegate Road, Carlisle, on Wednesday, 26th November at 11:30am, followed by interment in Upperby Cemetery.
