Lesley, Peter, Kenneth and families would like to express their heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers. Also for the generous donations to Eden Valley Hospice and The Great North Air Ambulance Service following the loss of our Dad Allan.

Grateful thanks to Father Luiz for his comforting funeral service, to Kim at Oopsie Daisy Flowers for the lovely floral tribute and to Carlisle United for providing the funeral tea.

Also thanks to the staff at The Cumberland Infirmary for the care they gave Dad a last but not least thank you to Sean Crilley Undertaker for his support, care and compassion at this sad and difficult time.

At the request of the family and with sadness we announce the following funeral details.

BENDLE James (Jim)

Suddenly in the Cumberland Infirmary on Wednesday 8th April 2026. Jim aged 83, beloved husband of the late Sarah, much loved dad of Michelle and Joanne, loved father-in-law to Phil, devoted grandad of Abi, and sadly missed by all his family and friends.
