Mary Laydon.
Passed away peacefully on Saturday 25th April 2026 at the Cumberland Infirmary. Mary aged 90 years, a much loved wife of the late Maurice. Dearly loved mam of Malcolm and Andrea, dearest mother in law of the late Colin. Loving nana of Carly, also a dear sister in law of Margaret and aunt of Ian.
Mary will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 11th May at 11-40am. Family flowers only by request, donations in memory of Mary to go towards the continued work of the Eden Valley Hospice.

The family of the late Paul would like to express heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind messages of sympathy, cards, flowers and support received during this sad time.
Special thanks to the Colette Team and the District Nurses for their support and care for Paul.
Many thanks to June Hearsey for her comforting words, and to Morton Manor for the hospitality, to Baytree Florist and the Flower Hut for the beautiful floral arrangements. Sandra Borradaile
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at Kingston Court Care Home. Sandra aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Cherished mam of Lorraine and Wendy. A very special "silly" nana to Stacey, Martin and Heather, great nana to Dawn, Thea, Theo, Isaac, Sadie and Oscar.
Sandra will be greatly missed by all her loving family and her many dear friends.
Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 8th May at 11:40am. Family flowers only by request. Donations to the continued work of Elm A/ HASU Ward Cumberland Infirmary.

Peacefully at Dalton Court Care Home on Wednesday 15th April 2026. George aged 90 Years. Much loved dad of Gillian, Jeff, Jeannette and the late Yvonne. Treasured grandad of David, Addelle, Diane, Ashleigh, Shelley, Tammy and the late Andrew. Devoted great grandad and a loving great great grandad of Miley. A loved uncle and a dear friend to all who knew him, especially the late Jean, the mother of his children.
