David Stott
Passed away peacefully at Kingston Care Home, David aged 77 years. A dearly loved husband of Dulcie, much loved dad of Matthew and Jane, dear father- in-law of Lydia. Also a treasured grandad and great grandad, dear brother and uncle.
David will be very sadly missed by his loving family and many friends.
Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday 3rd December at 1pm
Family flowers only by request donations in memory of David will got towards the continued work of Cancer Research UK

Mann, Derek
Peacefully on Sunday 16th November 2025 at the Eden Valley Hospice. Derek aged 82 years. Beloved husband of Marlene, dearly loved dad of Gary and Nichola, much loved stepdad of Matthew, dear father-in-law of Stephen and Elaine, a treasured granda of Jack and Harry. Derek will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends.
Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday 27th November at 1:40pm. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory of Derek will go towards the continued work of Eden Valley Hospice.

I went to Carlisle Cemetery a little earlier today. It was a beautiful afternoon and made all the better by seeing the, still majestic owl carved 20 years ago and some beautiful deer grazing happily in the woods

John Rennie McCall
Passed away peacefully at Riverwell Beck Care Home on Thursday 30th October 2025. John aged 95 years. Beloved husband of Connie, a much loved dad of Michael, Gillian, Stephen and Martin. Also a dearest father-in-law, grandad and great grandad.
John will be greatly missed by his family and dear friends.

STORY Josephine Norah (Joyce)
Peacefully on Monday 20th October 2025 at The Cumberland Infirmary. Joyce aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late John, treasured mother of Jenny, much loved mum of Joanne, loved mother-in-law of Tony, dear grandma of Arran, adored and cherished grandma of Kelly and Gary. Joyce will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

We all want to live forever and my mum did her best to do this, finally reaching the grand old age of 97 years old before her eyes were too heavy to keep open. This last week has been the hardest ever for me and at 6:30 tonight, mum peacefully passed away with Kelly and myself by her side. She lived her life to the full and waited to see Kelly get married last month and Gary set sail after all his hard work on the Disney Destiny before heading off to see her beloved husband John, to no doubt give him some grief. Rest in peace mum and thank you for everything. See you again when I come and join you. X###
