iCan wellbeing Group is a CIO dedicated to supporting healthier lifestyles in Cumbria. We operate an accessible fitness and wellness centre which caters to people who wouldn't normally attend a "gym" our wellness sessions. Sessions are open to all and we have female only, male only and mixed sessions to make everyone feel safe. Many sessions are free so please enquire with our team today to get started. iCan wellbeing group also offer outreach health and wellness activities across Cumbria including focussed work in Mid Copeland through our school and community programmes and our Wheels of Wellness. iCan is a trusted provider for the NHS working on the waiting well programme for North Cumbria and many other projects.

iCan Wellbeing in Carlisle offers patients 12 weeks of free, flexible wellbeing support in a welcoming, trauma-informed environment.

The programme includes:
Ikigai sessions
A variety of physical activities
Specialist ADHD support

These sessions help patients build confidence, resilience, and take positive steps toward better health.

Struggling with work?
Work Well can connect you to support too, offering 12–16 weeks of free guidance to help you move forward.

There’s still time to book on to our Christmas Day event.

If you’d like to join us or know someone who would love to be surrounded by great community and lovely food then drop us a message to book in ☺️

This Christmas, we’re opening our doors to bring people together — because no one should feel alone on Christmas Day.

Join us for a friendly, festive morning filled with connection, laughter, and good food:

10:30am – Gentle walk around Bitts Park to start the day and enjoy some fresh winter air.
11am – 1pm – Bring & Share Celebration with festive games, music, and refreshments.

Bring along your favourite Christmas dish or treat to share with the group — or just bring yourself, you’ll be warmly welcomed either way. We also encourage Christmas jumper or festive accessories.

Whether you’d like some company, a change of scenery, or simply want to share the joy with others, this is a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Share with those who you think may need a place like iCan on Christmas Day.

Spaces are limited, so please book early by calling 01228 819101.

If you’d like to help make the day extra special, you can donate a gift for under the tree or contribute food for the Bring & Share.
