⭐️ We are delighted to introduce the Life of Purpose Community ⭐️

We created Life On Purpose because we’ve been — and still are — on a journey from living the life we stumbled into, to living a life filled with purpose and intention. A life we’ve consciously chosen.

Along the way, we’ve had support from many places, but we never quite found the community we needed to walk beside us through all the twists and turns. As the saying goes, when you can’t find the light, be the light. So that’s what we’re doing — and we’d love for you to join us.

⭐️What the Community offers - Weekly Online Sessions – Sunday, 7pm - Starting 12th April 2026
For one hour each Sunday evening, we come together online to let go of the week that’s been and welcome the week ahead.

We’ll share a guided meditation or tapping practice around the month’s theme, create space for you to set your intentions, and offer gentle accountability as you take the actions you’ve chosen to build your Life on Purpose.

⭐️Members-only Facebook Group
This is where our community lives. It’s a space to share your ups, downs, and challenges — and to lean on one another for motivation, inspiration, and wisdom.

⭐️Exclusive Discounts
We host regular day retreats, and as a community member, you’ll receive priority booking and 25% off all of our events.

⭐️Investment
If you sign up before the 12th April you'll get 6 months 1/2 price using the EARLYBIRD discount code!

Caz's Story…

I was just scrolling through the photos on my phone to find something to go with the part of my story I was planning to share today — about the training I’ve done over the past decade to get to where I am professionally.

Looking through them made me really happy… and a little tearful too. I’m just so grateful for the life I have now.

Life is busy in the best kind of way. I work part of the week in a role where I get to do meaningful work that makes a real difference to people. I run my private therapy practice, which is incredibly rewarding. And we’ve recently launched Life on Purpose, with the community opening in April.

I’m also coming to the end of my degree in Psychology and Counselling with the Open University — just a few months left now after six years of study!

Outside of work and study, my partner and I started walking the Wainwrights last summer. So whenever the weather and the schedule allow it, I drag myself up a fell.

Am I fast going up? No.
Am I fast coming down? Also no.
Do I do it all with a smile on my face? Definitely not.

But I love it anyway.

So what’s the message in all of this?

Building a Life on Purpose doesn’t happen overnight. It might take years — maybe even the best part of a decade. But don’t let that put you off.

That time is going to pass anyway… so you might as well spend it intentionally.

A reminder that we are hosting this beautiful spring retreat on Saturday 21st March - 10am - 3pm in Hunsonby.

Part of the day will include visiting Long Meg and her Daughters stone circle (just a couple of minutes up the road) to spend some quiet contemplation time together.

The day is designed to be accessible to anyone, no matter what your experience level is with meditation, reiki, or tapping, and we'd really love to have you join us.

Caz's story....

I think this will sound familiar to lots of you - mine is certainly not an uncommon story.

When I left school I got a job in retail / sales that would do "for now" whilst I figured out what I wanted to do. I moved around with it a little, got a promotion here and there, changed to do the same job with another company and I was comfortable. Money was alright, employers were alright, I was treated alright, holidays were alright, everything was alright.

I was alright. Except for when I crossed the car park to get into the building each morning, I kinda hoped that a car would reverse out on me so that I didn't have to go in. (I wasn't wishing for anything too serious, but something that would take me out of the game for a while.)

That didn't happen straight away of course, I was in that "for now" job for 16 years altogether, and probably a good 12 or so before I realised it was time to go.

I wasn't living a life I had intentionally created, I was living a life of convenience and comfort that I had slipped into, but it wasn't feeling comfortable anymore. So things had to change.

I'll tell you more about HOW they changed another time - but needless to say it didn't happen over night, and I'm still working on it. But I can happily say that now my life is lived much more on purpose, lived much more in alignment with my purpose, and generally just lived much more. 💕

You often see this quote with just the What if I fall? Oh but darling, what if you fly? which is a powerful message in it's self - we do often focus on what could go wrong, rather than what could go right. I'm a strong believer that we need to look at BOTH - understanding what could go wrong allows you to plan and mitigate for it, perhaps to find another way. Looking at what could go right gives you the will to make the leap.

But for me, the most beautiful bit of the quote is the first part, "There is freedom waiting for you on the breezes of the sky", it's beautifully poetic. It's also exciting - freedom is there already, it's waiting for me, and I only have to choose it.

Apparently it's love your pet day today!

Snuggling with a fluffy friend raises oxytocin, reducing the stress hormones and making you feel better. (They also all have their own special ways of raising those stress hormones 🤣).

Here's my Theo - let's see pics of your fluffers!

Not sure you're showing up in the world how you want to? Tap along with us in this quick video from my other venture, Life on Purpose.

Don't worry if you've never tapped (using EFT) before - just copy what we do, even if it looks a bit wacky, and see how you feel - Or just listen and repeat the words if you prefer!

This is a short tap about how easily and powerfully we can choose to show up in the world

I'm not sorry to interrupt
Your thoughts
As they lead you in a merry dance
Over and over again
The same steps
That your parents taught you
The same steps
That their parents taught them
This dance has lasted long enough
So no, I'm not sorry to interrupt.

I'm not sorry to interrupt
Your patterns
As they lead you down the same old road
To the same old place
That you've been frustrated with for years
Frustrated with the person
You are in this place
Ignoring the version
That's been begging for space
So no, I'm not sorry to interrupt.
I'm not sorry at all.

It's probably time to reintroduce myself. Not only have I been a little absent on social for a while, but also a lot has changed in that time!

Hopefully you know I'm Caz, even if you've not met me in person yet. For those of you who have known me for a while, but maybe not seen me, yes, I've lost weight (about 100lbs) - something I'll maybe talk about more in another post. That has allowed me to start walking the wainwright's, we're coming up to 80 so far and loving it. My other half does all the planning and prep and I supply the flask of tea and the complaining on the uphill bits. Whilst walking the wainwright's I get a lot of inspiration for writing, which I've been doing more and more of. If you're interested you can find that on my other page ( Caroline Pett Writing ).

I still love being in the therapy room with you guys. My therapy style is really grounded and flexible. The training I've done covers a few different approaches (mainly coaching, NLP, Hypnosis and Tapping) and I've studied those techniques deeply, which allows me to play with them in sessions, weave them together and adapt them to suit you and the moment. I love asking questions you probably haven’t considered, and helping you see a different perspective. Although most people think it's hard and serious work, and of course there are often big emotions at play, I like to bring in lightness and humour. There aren't many sessions I have with clients where we don't laugh at least a little.

Alongside this, I'm also employed half the week, and I am collaborating with Caroline Zalkind to create workshops, retreats and more to come under the brand Eden Valley Tapping. (The name might change in the near future, watch this space) We're having a great time working together and can't wait to bring more things to you!

And finally I'm very nearly finished my BSc with the Open University - it will have taken 6 years of part time study, but in a couple of months I'll be able to say I've got a degree in psychology and counselling. It's been quite the journey, I've loved studying (which I didn't so much in school!) And I'm very much looking forward to being finished!

Lots of love 💕
