This week is Safeguarding Adults Week.

The theme this year is Prevention, with a focus on acting before abuse happens.

Highlighting positive practice and a healthy culture at work and in our communities can help us to recognise what safety looks like, and help reduce the risk of abusive behaviour.

This week is Baby Week, and we want to hear from the dads! 💬🍼

Our recent Paternal Wellbeing Project, "How are you today, Dad?" looked at new dads' experiences of becoming a parent.

We would still love to hear from you!

What was the most challenging part of becoming a dad?

Do you have any tips for new dads out there?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments or by email to: info@healthwatchcumberland.co.uk

Last week the Healthwatch Cumberland team visited Outreach Cumbria - LGBT as part of our Trans Voices project.🏳️‍⚧️💬

We brought along some goodie bags to say a big thank you for their support!

We had a great time chatting to their group members and volunteers about their thoughts on health and social care in Cumberland for trans and gender diverse people, and created a survey together.

You can fill in our survey here:
