Jigsaw provides care and support for children and young adults from throughout Cumbria. Every day, Jigsaw is filled with laughter and enjoyment as children and young adults take part in a wide range of colourful, creative and sensory activities. The annual cost of providing our services is over ยฃ3million, with only 27% received from the NHS. For many of us, a hospice will touch our lives, whether for ourselves, a loved one, or a friend, to offer comfort, expert care, and kindness through lifeโs most challenging times.
But just as this incredible support wouldn't exist without hospices across the UK, hospice care wouldn't exist without you.
We rely heavily on charitable donations to keep our hospice care services operating. That's why we're asking everyone to consider leaving a gift in their Will, after they've thought of their friends and family. By doing so, you can help us continue to provide this vital care, ensuring that everyone has the support they need.
GOOD LUCK to our amazing fundraisers! If you spot any of the team along the route, please give them an extra big cheer, and a big wave! ๐
We cannot thank you all enough for representing and supporting your hospice! Go team Eden Valley and Jigsaw! ๐๐ป๐

Thank you Norman, Tony, Fiona, and Pat who organised a Tractor Run from Newton Trailer Centre recently ๐
On Sunday 24th August, Over 100 tractors took part and filled Newton Reigny as community and friends gathered for their annual tractor run! This year they raised funds to kindly be split between Prostrate Cancer UK alongside Eden Valley and Jigsaw.
We were thrilled to meet with Norman and the organisers to thank them and everyone involved for donating to Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw's share, totalling an incredible ยฃ2200! โญ
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in making the event such a success; we hope you were fuelled by lots of tea and cheers along the way! Your kindness will make a difference for so many families. ๐๐งฉ

Thank you! Mark, Mike, Jonnie and Paul raised ยฃ3,845.13 ๐
In May, they took part in the Benidorm Bangers Run to the Sun โ driving from Carlisle to Benidorm to raise funds for Eden Valley Hospice in memory of Marksโs father in law Gil, in Gilโs Fiat Punto. ๐
Gil spent his last days at the hospice in September 2023. Gil's family were grateful that the hospice made what was a very difficult time, a little bit easier.
Gil's family wanted to give back, to ensure the hospice can provide care for local families for years to come. It's thanks to the generosity of our fundraisers and supporters that the hospice can provide expert care for everyone who needs it. ๐
To our Benidorm Bangers team, thank you for all you have done for your hospice, our patients and their families. โญ

Thank you!! ๐ผ Your generosity for our Garden of Memories appeal has raised over ยฃ10,000 to support other families when they need care in their most difficult times.
In August, we held a Garden of Memories service here at the hospice inviting you to come along and remember your loved ones, amongst the lawn of forget-me-nots.
Together, we created a day filled with sunshine, smiles, reflection, remembrance and community care, all in support of your hospice โ we couldnโt have done it without you. Thank you for joining us and making memories that will last long after our Garden of Memories appeal. ๐
