We are Carlisle's longest established independent opticians. Initially started by Ken France in 1966 on The Crescent. He moved to the present location in the 1970's and worked with Mike France until he retired in 1988. Martin Golden became the main optometrist from then, until he was joined by Tim Harper in 1996. When Mike France retired in 2004 Martin and Tim carried on the good work.
