I love setting up temple at conventions and other resonant events and seeing who the vortex draws in and what it brings forth. If I had to find a theme for this last edition of the ever-wonderful , it would have to be this.

Everyone I ended up working with was in some form or another ‘in service’ ~ to others, to community, to healing, to the greater whole and the greater good ✨
It has been a pleasure and honour to meet you all, and to be chosen to mark with importance and intention. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏼

Pictured is a ‘Harmony’ sigil, which was drawn directly onto Nicola’s hand, in addition to the ‘Water’ one that was to grace her middle finger. By drawing it on free hand it was made to fit and adapted to her style. I deeply appreciate our chats, our shared passion for youth work and ethics and just your amazing energy and vibrance, dear Nicola ✨ Looking forward to our paths crossing again in the not too distant future ~ perhaps a bit sooner than another 8 years 😉

Nicola came to show off the little Lotus bud she had tattooed at the by yours truly exactly 8(!) years ago.. Only two years into my tattooing journey at that point, it was great to see how well it has healed and settled in over time.

Dream of a day, starting off with Nicola not only coming in for the finger tattoo she booked a month in advance, but to also ask me to weave the magic further onto her hand, on the spot ✨

As per usual I ended up sketching at the airport on my way to the UK ~ all the last-minute inspiration that comes to me every single time in the run-up to such events. I never know who they’ll be for, only that people will come find me to claim them. This is why I love taking walk-ups ~

Always an honour to be asked to tattoo someone for the first time. When that’s in a convention environment with an audience and all sorts of other stuff swirling around- there’s extra care to be taken to create a special space for it to be just about you and your marking.

For second generation white witch Emma, who was a joy to sit with in every which way 🌱 Thanks for the trust and for allowing me some time to figure out that stencil machine downstairs without a print or internet - the one time I actually needed it all weekend (thanks 🫶🏼 couldn’t have done it without you!)

Deepest gratitude to all who visited my quiet machine-free pop-up temple space in the far corner of the last weekend - to vibe, share, receive and transmute ✨I enjoyed every connection made, no matter how brief or small, and am in awe of the courage of those who dared to enter, surrender and go deep.

Representing harmonious relationships and the reciprocity of giving and receiving, these two lovebirds chose their markings well and wisely 🩶

Each carrying the number two of relating when apart, but once hands are locked they hold the stability of the solid, dependable and committed number four.

Tattooed each with grips made from the same bit of wood, all came together in a lovely impromptu celebratory ceremony on the 2nd day of the ever-wonderful ✨

Gratitude to you both, dear Lauren and Si ~ it was a total pleasure sitting with you.
