As well as continuing to practice the facial rejuvenation massage and teaching Yoga, I am now also a fully qualified practitioner in Integral Sound healing with tuning forks. I write a bit about it here on my Nurturing Wellness page. If you haven't already followed me there please do as I post about all of my treatments on that page now and rarely use this one as it easier to have one page for all of my work, rather than lots of pages. I am back to work with my treatments from this week, both at Eskdalemuir Community Hub & Old School Cafe and in Carlisle. I am still finishing my case studies for my diploma in sound healing with tuning forks, so between now and the end of February I am offering full sessions of sound healing with tuning forks at half price (at The Hub only).
I am also offering mini tasters of sound healing with tuning forks with my other treatments.
I have practiced Ayurvedic facial rejuvenation massage for the last 12 years. It is an incredibly deeply relaxing treatment as well as rejuvenating for the face.
I am an advanced practitioner of Thai Yoga massage and have been practicing for nearly 20 years. It uses acupressure and stretches to open up the flows of prana in the body and return it to a state of balance.
The HeartMath coaching teaches techniques to move out of patterns of stress and anxiety and into being able to self regulate in the moment. It is an incredibly useful set of user friendly skills which help us to maintain a balanced nervous system even when in the middle of a stressful time or situation. For this we use biofeedback technology in the sessions to monitor your progress as we build your capacity to stay in coherence. I will be doing some more posts about this soon.
I have also had a lot of requests for 1-2-1 Yoga sessions to help people get a home practice together, especially if they feel unable to come to classes or if they have health conditions that require more 1-2-1 attention. I have always done this over the last 25 years of my teaching but I am making it more a part of my work now.
A new aspect to my work this year will be to tailor 1-2-1 sessions to people, using all of my skills, depending on what they need. For example a session may include some yoga movements and/or breath work, some HeartMath coaching and some tuning forks. These combined nurturing wellness sessions will be specifically tailored to what is best for you.

Don't forget to follow my new page Nurturing Wellness Eskdalemuir for the latest information and updates on all of my treatments, Yoga classes and workshops. I am slowly moving all of my strands of work onto this page to make it easier to find all of the options that I offer and there will be less posted onto this page as the other one gets more organised.
Currently any Ayurvedic facial rejuvenation massage treatment booked with me at The Hub in Eskdalemuir is also able to have a free 20 minutes of sound healing with tuning forks in addition to the treatment as I train in my practitioner diploma of Integral sound healing with tuning forks with the Sound Healing Academy.

This is from my Nurturing Wellness Eskdalemuir page, which is slowly becoming where I am posting most about all of the treatments that I offer, as well as my Yoga classes. Do follow if you would like to be kept up to date with what I am offering and doing. Please note that currently I am only able to offer the free 20 minute sessions of sound healing with tuning forks with my treatments booked in Eskdalemuir.

We still have funding available for residents of DG13 to receive £10 discount off any treatments booked at The Hub in Eskdalemuir. I have spaces available next week if anyone would like to book.

In addition, as I am currently doing my Level 2 practitioner certificate training in sound healing with tuning forks, with The Sound Healing Academy, I am offering an optional free 20 minute session with any treatment booked with me at The Hub while I am training. This is available to anyone booking, and not just to those eligible for the discount.

I am also able to offer free HeartMath coaching sessions under the Wellbeing fund to residents of DG13 (3 sessions per person). This system helps you to self regulate when in stress or anxiety and to bring yourself into a place of heart coherence in order to be able to move out of the stress pattern.

I am very happy to be a part of this weekend of Wellbeing in April at The Hub in Eskdalemuir. Tickets for events are now on sale on through eventbrite and I have the link on my Nurturing Wellness Eskdalemuir page on Facebook. Throughout the weekend I will be there teaching yoga classes and a chanting class and am available for treatments. There will be many other things on offer from all the amazing therapists and healers that we have living in and around the valley including Qi Gong, crystal healing and a drum session 😀
