I’ve always been quite active but last January I decided to join the gym and absolutely throw myself into my physical activity! I once thought I didn’t have time and realised I’m sitting watching tv for an hour here and an hour there, I’m scrolling for another, I can get up a little earlier… you have got time!!!
I also thought I can’t afford it… well, no more coffee’s out, no more takeaways or food grabbing as I go and only buy what I need and boom 💥 my £5.95 a week for Slimming world & the gym is paid for and both are much better for me and my health 🫶

❤️Our healthy eating plan prioritises proteins and fruits and vegetables and of course carbs required for energy like pasta, potatoes rice! And also includes fibre, calcium and healthy fats too… all those fabulous foods you need to help you with any physical activity.
💪With the help of The gym group & the trainers there and Everlast gym and all the class instructors there too (other gyms are also available and I’m sure just as fabulous but that’s where I go) I have absolutely prioritised my fitness and improved my health and my body that I can see & feel. I’ve also made some awesome new friends!
My energy has increased, I am stronger, I am fitter and it’s a huge part of my life!
I set out to work hard for a year with my food choices, ensuring I follow our plan and weigh every week to keep me on track and to go to the gym every day ..and I did it!!!! 🥰… with consistency, determination, discipline and to keep going even when I really didn’t want to!!!
Now for the next 12 months.
One of my daft things I wanted to acheive was to see all 12 months achievements on my Apple Watch!
Look 👀… and I’m fairly chuffed with my Strava achievements too!
