What a truly amazing day! Today I received the following certificates which I have been studying for since early last year:

Foundation Funeral Course
Health & Safety in the Workplace
Certificate in Operative Skills
Operative Skills course

My studies were unfortunately put on hold but glad to say I’m back on track! Next time I will receive my Cert FP and Diploma!

Thank you to my amazing friend and tutor Jill who has been my rock during the last few months! My amazing husband and equally amazing staff. I didn’t win and certainly didn’t expect to. The event was fabulous. Massive well done to Graham Torrie your total shock and surprise on winning was priceless! Very well deserved. See you all next year! Xx

Very excited!!!!! We’ve just arrived in Luton for the IFD College Matthew Gallagher Achievement Awards. Not expecting to win at all but can’t wait to receive some of my certificates for my Funeral Director Exams and being a finalist means the world!

The Matthew Gallagher Achievement Award is awarded annually by the Independent Funeral Directors College. Matthew who served as a college governor, assessor and verifier, had a unique ability to encourage and find something good in every student’s work. He was a master of inclusivity and vision. It is, therefore, appropriate that this award is presented in his memory to a student who has overcome challenges to complete IFD College certificated units.

Those challenges may be, for example, personal, domestic, educational or physical. Nominees must be currently studying an IFDC training course xx
