Friday night takeaway decisions… 😅

Honestly?
One chow mein has never been the thing that caused the damage.

It’s usually the:
“ah well… I’ve ruined it now”
that sends people into a full weekend spiral 👀

Real life weight loss was never about being perfect.

It’s learning how to have the takeaway… WITHOUT needing a dramatic Monday comeback speech afterwards 🤣. ✌🏼️

She’s just walked through the door. Shoes off. Bag dumped. Proper done in.

And then it comes…

“What’s for tea?”

And it’s not that she doesn’t care. It’s not that she’s “fallen off plan”.

She’s just tired.

Because it’s not about knowing what to eat.
It’s about having the energy to actually do it.

And when you haven’t?

That’s when it all goes a bit …sideways.

Fridge. Cupboard.
Something quick. Something easy. Something that turns into “I’ll start again Monday”.

I see this ALL the time.

Somewhere along the line, loads of us learned to hand our mood over to a number before the day has even started.

If it’s down?
We feel proud. Motivated. “Good”.

If it’s up?
Suddenly we’re frustrated with ourselves before we’ve even brushed our teeth.

And then comes the dangerous bit…

“Well stuff it.”
“I may as well eat what I want.”
“I’ll start again Monday.”

I see this ALL the time.
Not because people don’t care enough.
Usually because they care too much.

The scales can give useful information over time, yes. But they can also fluctuate because of hormones, salt, stress, sleep, constipation, hydration, a late meal, sore muscles after the gym… and about 47 other things we never take into account when we dramatically ruin our own morning 😅

So this is your reminder today:

It’s just data.

Not your worth.
Not your effort.
Not your future.

And definitely not permission to write the whole day off before it’s even begun.

They said it wouldn’t last. She didn’t listen.

Holly hit her goal this week.
Actually… she didn’t just hit it — she sailed straight past it.

Over 9 stone gone in less than a year.

And I know what people say when they see that.

Too fast.
Won’t last.
Not realistic.

But they don’t see the full story.

They don’t see the days it wobbled.
The moments it would’ve been easier to sack it off.
The times she could’ve disappeared… and didn’t.

That’s the difference.

Not perfection.
Not willpower.

Just… not disappearing when it gets hard.

I’m ridiculously proud of her ❤️

You know what I’m seeing more of lately?

Women not eating enough.

Not in a “being good” way…

In a
“can’t be bothered”
“nothing appeals”
“just grabbing whatever”
kind of way.

And then wondering why they feel flat, tired, a bit all over the place…
and the plan starts slipping.

Because it’s not always about eating less.

Sometimes it’s just… not eating properly.

And I get it.

When your appetite’s off (for whatever reason – busy life, stress, jabs, hormones… take your pick 🙃)

figuring out what to eat can feel like a faff.

That’s where these little packs actually come in handy.
