When faced with challenges even an adults nervous system reacts this way. So let's teach children that this is NORMAL! What becomes a skill is how we behave afterwards.

An unfair situation on the pitch ➑️ negative emotions ➑️ behaviour

You disagree with the referee πŸ—£ ➑️ you get angry 🀬 ➑️ you lash out, potentially get booked πŸŸ₯

With practice, mindset is everything.πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ The younger they start to practice the better πŸ‘

So, CBT: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Usually used by therapists and psychologists to help support anyone with anxiety, depression, trauma and other aspects of mental health. It's about acknowledging that we are not our thoughts, and that they do not control us! A thought is just that, a thought. But what you do with that thought counts!
